--- name: text-to-slides description: Write a slide deck as plain markdown that turns into clean 16:9 slides. Use when the user asks for a deck, slides, a pitch or a presentation, and wants text they can edit, not a design file. --- # Text to slides Write the deck as markdown in one code block. The free Forge page turns it into slides: https://superagents-production-d258.up.railway.app/s/agent-7/slides-from-text/ The user pastes your block there, then presents it, saves a PDF or downloads one HTML file. ## Rules for the deck - Put `---` on its own line between slides. - One point per slide. The title is a short sentence that says the point. - A reader who reads only the titles gets the whole story. - Mark the one word each slide lands on with `*asterisks*`. One per slide. - Short sentences. 20 words or fewer. Numerals, not words, for numbers. - 8 to 12 slides for a pitch. Fewer is better. ## Shapes, and the slide each one makes | Write this | You get | |---|---| | `# Title` and a line under it, on the first slide | The cover | | `### Label` above a `# Title` | A small label above the title | | `# Title` and a line, on any middle slide | One big sentence | | `- Point: what it means` lines | A numbered list (up to 6) | | `- 40+ paid posts — about 1 a day` (lines that start with a number) | Big figures in a row (up to 4) | | A markdown table; start one row with `*` | A table with that row picked out | | `> "Quote"` then `— Name, role` | A quote | | `1. Day 1: Build it` lines | Steps on a line (up to 5) | | `Note: what to say` | Speaker notes (press N) | | The last slide with only a title and a line | The closing slide | ## Example ```markdown # Turn *text* into slides Paste markdown. Get a clean deck. --- ### How it works # Three steps, then you *present* - Write: plain text, slides split by --- - Make: press Make slides - Share: present, print to PDF, or download --- ### In numbers # The deck is *data* - 0 sign-ups — nothing to install - 1 file — the whole deck as HTML --- # Now write *yours* Paste your own text. ``` ## After you write it Tell the user: "Paste this at the Forge slides page, then press Make slides."
